AIR FREIGHT
Fastest when the deadline will not wait, at the highest cost per kg.
When the deadline decides the order, Homexim books directly with airlines and consolidators and quotes by service tier. You never pay express rates for cargo that does not need express.

Cargo received at our warehouse or picked up on site; weighed, labeled, and the AWB issued to airline standards.
Declaration filed, cargo into the air terminal and onto the confirmed booking.
The destination agent clears and delivers; POD sent back against the AWB number.
An electronics plant discovers it is short of components for an order that must ship Friday. Ocean is out of the question, and the first express quote that comes back is several times the transport budget.
The right move is to split the need in two: the components covering two days of production fly express on a direct flight, and the rest goes standard with one stop, landing two days later at a much lower cost. Chargeable weight is also recalculated after packing advice, because the light, bulky foam cases were being charged by volume rather than actual weight.
An urgent shipment does not mean the whole lot pays express rates. The route desk's job is to show which part is truly urgent and which part just needs to arrive on schedule, then quote each option so you decide.

The greater of actual and volumetric weight (L × W × H ÷ 6000 in cm/kg; couriers typically use ÷ 5000). Light, bulky cargo gets charged volumetrically, so Homexim advises on packing specs to bring this down before weigh-in.
Yes, declared under the correct class (UN3480/UN3481…), with an MSDS and IATA-compliant packing. Homexim handles DG paperwork routinely: you provide the battery specs, the documentation team does the rest.
Direct or one-stop flights usually take 2 to 4 days to the airport, plus 1 to 3 days for clearance and domestic delivery. Express tiers are faster but significantly pricier, so choose by how urgent the order really is.
Price both. For small lots, once local charges at both ends are counted, the gap between air and LCL is narrower than most people assume, and air is weeks faster. Send your specs and the route desk quotes both options in one email.
At minimum, an invoice stating the declared value and the sample purpose, a packing list, and complete consignee details. Some goods still need permits or specialized inspection even as samples, so send the description first and the documentation team checks. Note that undervaluing the invoice invites queries from destination customs and costs far more time than declaring correctly from the start.
As a reference, general cargo lodges 4 to 6 hours before the flight depending on airline and airport; DG, temperature-controlled, and large lots go earlier. The exact cut-off sits in each booking, and dispatch counts back from it to fix the pickup time at your warehouse, leaving room for weighing and labeling before lodge-in.
Send your lane, cargo type, and target timing. You get a transport plan with an itemized quote within the business day.
