Customs brokerage

A shipment's surprise costs usually live in the declaration. Homexim's documentation team cross-checks the file before filing, classifies HS codes with cited grounds, and quotes total duties up front. You approve, then we file.

Export, import, processing, and export-manufacturing declarations on VNACCS

HS classification with cited grounds: HS explanatory notes, analysis results, advance rulings

C/O Form E, AK, AJ, EUR.1, CPTPP… validity checked before cargo arrives

Specialized inspections: quarantine, food safety, conformity, registered early so cargo never waits on paperwork

The 4-step process

1

File review

Invoice, packing list, contract, and permits cross-checked. Discrepancies fixed before the declaration is drafted.

2

Classify & calculate

HS code, duty rates, and preferential schedules per C/O determined. Total duties quoted first, and you approve before we file.

3

File the declaration

Filed on VNACCS, channel assignment monitored. Yellow or red channel gets worked the same day.

4

Clear & archive

Duty obligations completed, shipment cleared, archived file set handed over for post-clearance audits.

Frequently asked questions

What are the risks of a wrong HS code?

A wrong code means wrong duty rates: retroactive collection, administrative fines, and a compliance record that worsens channel assignment on future shipments. Homexim classifies with cited grounds (HS explanatory notes, analysis results, advance rulings) so the file holds up in post-clearance audits.

How much duty does a Form E C/O save?

It depends on the product line. Many goods imported from China with a valid Form E pay 0% instead of 5 to 20% MFN. The conditions: meeting the rules of origin and a C/O free of formal defects. Homexim checks the C/O before cargo arrives, because a rejection at clearance means the preference is lost for that shipment.

What happens if my declaration hits the red channel?

Red channel means physical inspection. Homexim prepares the supporting file in advance, puts staff on site to supervise the inspection, and resolves issues on the spot. The target is same-day clearance so cargo never sits accruing demurrage and storage.

What extra procedures do imported food products need?

Self-declaration or registered product declaration, plus import food-safety inspection depending on the category. Start when you place the order. Homexim sends the document list as soon as the PO exists, so the declaration can be filed the day cargo arrives.
